As well as downhill skiing, there is a huge range of extra activities. For the brave, ice diving in the mountain lakes, heli-skiing or paragliding over the peaks. You can also enjoy cross-country skiing along the wonderful wooded trails that border the river in the Vallée d’Abondance. Or you could participate in husky sledding or ski joering with enthusiastic ponies totally adapted to this vigorous activity round the beautiful Lac des Plagnes or drive on an ice track in Abondance. There are many more peaceful activities such as guided snowshoe hikes in our village resort of Drouzin le Mont, ice fishing or bathing in the spas; benefit from this therapeutic experience in thermal waters surrounded by spectacular lakeside or mountain scenery with hammams, saunas and a choice of different massage treatments.
